Good Shit Takes Time

On March 22, I turned forty-two years old and I had this thought: “In five years time, I’ll be forty seven…” There is no conclusion to this thought, just a new perspective I have never considered before… I guess maths have never been my strength!

Coinciding with my birthday, I suffered from reflux for the very first time. My stomach was not accepting food at all which forced me to stop eating meat, fish, dairy, processed food and alcohol for the entire month. After nearly thirty days, I slowly went back to normal life but I have to tell you something: My body is still thanking me for it.

Apart from reflux, my health has improved greatly in the last six months —after having two hospital procedures and the removal of big lump on my back, so these days I’m feeling like A Million Dollar Baby.

The last eight weeks have been incredibly busy teaching at RMIT, working at my studio during the weekends and getting ready for my upcoming second solo exhibition in Spain at the Art Centre Tinglado 2.

This year, I have decided to allocate more time for the important people in my life, so I’ll be spending a few days in Amsterdam and over a week in Berlin, as well as spending quality time with my family and close friends in Catalonia.

While I’m overseas, I would love to teach a few workshops so if you are reading this letter and would like to host a workshop together, just hit reply and get in touch, I’d love to hear from you! This below is my itinerary.
