Why is your brand identity so important?
A premium visual identity will set you apart from your competition. It will communicate trust, craft, value and confidence to your audience. It will make you stand out.
Your brand is more than just a logo; it’s everything! It’s your ultimate sales tool and the very essence of how you’re recognised in the world.
Premium branding will elevate your market positioning, drawing in your ideal customer, and ensuring your products and services are a hot commodity, whether on digital shelves or physical ones.
It is my mission is to elevate your brand, ensuring it radiates all its potential.
What are branding assets?
Brand assets are recognisable elements that embody your company’s identity.
Your brand occupies a specific space in the market; brand assets make it easy to identify your business, help you stand out from competitors, and communicate with your customers in a personal, identifiable and meaningful way.
Brand assets can include the following:
— Logotype / Wordmark / Brandmark
— Monogram / Icon set
— Content (tagline and tone of voice)
— Fonts
— Brand colour palette, textures and materials
— Lettering
— Photography (and photo library style)
— Video and animation
— Illustration and pattern design
Principles to establish an effective brand awareness and premium positioning.
Professional images of your products and/or services
Show your products and services with great detail. Invest in premium professional photography, it will be a great return on your investment.
Professional images of your packaging
Differentiate yourself from the vast competition by creating awareness, emotion and desire through your product packaging. Using stunning and beautifully crafted packaging design will elevate your brand and make it irresistible.
Photography style and stock photo library
Curate a photographic style that is cohesive with your colour palette, and represents your target audience.
Establish a clear branding colour palette, textures and/or materials.
Colours and textures are your best friend in order to create a strong visual brand identity. Do you have a brand style guide in place?
Your brand gives meaning to your logotype and brand mark
Encapsulate the DNA of your brand by defining its chore qualities beforehand, so it attracts your target audience and positions you in the desired market space.
Smart and distinctive tone of voice
A smile or an emotional response to your brand deepens the connection and loyalty with your customers.
Educate your audience
Share resources and valuable information on topics that are relevant to your audience.
Reward your audience
Say thank you by offering value, staying in touch and sharing your journey.
Inspire your audience by amplifying your mission.
Do you have a clear mission? Actions speak louder than words. Show what your brand’s purpose is about.
The Design Process
1. Project kick-off + research
After our initial brand discovery call, I initiate the process by thoroughly researching your brand to identify elements that will visually captivate your ideal customer and effectively convey your unique qualities that set you apart from competitors.
2. Initial concepts
Up to 3 initial concepts to be used in print as well as digital environment.
The initial concepts most likely will be hand sketches alongside a presentation deck with reference material. This process is done with 2 rounds of revisions where we’ll narrow down the concepts and select a winner to proceed with the digital refinement.
3. Digital asset refinement
Based on your feedback, I’ll team up with you to perfect the final branding asset, ensuring the design aligns seamlessly with your vision. We’ll go through this process with two rounds of revisions.
Once the asset has been approved, I will finesse all details and create positive and negative versions, as well as small-size applications.
4. Final deliverables + master files
In this concluding stage, I will develop a comprehensive master folder containing all the branding asset files in both PNG and SVG formats.
This step is crucial as it provides you with a reference guide that you or your team can utilise, ensuring consistency across all future marketing materials and maintaining a cohesive brand identity.
5. Brand Application (optional)
Once we’ve nailed down your branding asset, I can effortlessly incorporate it into a range of materials, such as business cards, packaging, print, digital collateral, social media assets, and beyond.

Next steps
I’m ready to start! What’s my next step?
Next steps would be to schedule an initial Zoom call with me. The purpose of this call is to confirm that we’re a good fit to work together and discuss the project timeline. After that, I’ll send over the proposal for you to approve and sign.
How does payment work?
I like to keep it simple. You’ll make a 50% deposit upon signing the proposal, and the remaining 50% upon completion of the project.
FAQs
I have a freelance designer I already work with for my marketing and social media. Will this be a good fit for me?
If you have someone in-house doing your graphic and web design, my work can be very useful in helping them use the branding assets in their website and socials.
Additionally, I work closely with my partner, who builds, hosts, and optimises websites to achieve higher search engine rankings, so if you are interested in SEO, let me know and I’ll put you in touch.
Do you work with clients worldwide?
Yes! For the past 10 years I have worked with clients in 7 different countries in over 4 continents. With tools like email and Zoom everything is possible.
Ready to elevate your brand?
Before I work with any of my clients, I always like to meet them over Zoom to get to know them better as well as their business. The calls are typically 30 minutes and by the end of the call, I’ll let you know when I can start and complete your project by.

The new Windsorborn logo turned out perfectly, exactly what we were hoping for when we sought out Maria’s expertise! Super distinctive, elegant yet bold, and very modern, quite different from what most other agencies are doing. The creative process was really smooth, everything was communicated effectively, and all feedback was meticulously addressed.
The new logo has served us incredibly well, and we have had nothing but great feedback on it since its implementation. It helped set us up for an amazing year, so very much appreciate Maria’s part in all of that. Excellent work.
