Drunk On Letter Ink | Podcast

In September 2017, I had my first public speaking gig at Typism Conference thanks to the support of Dominique Falla.

During that amazing weekend on the Gold Coast, I met the kick-ass duo Roxy Prima and Phoebe Cornog as they were also speaking at Typism Conference. Thanks to their generosity, my first podcast interview is now live at Drunk on Lettering. Be ready to hear a few of “what is that mean?”…

The artwork below is tweaking the spelling “Drunk on Letter Ink” —referencing hand lettering, calligraphy and inktober. These podcasts —and Roxy & Phoebe— are super fun, so I decided to introduce a visual joke “How much lettering can you drink? Do you prefer red, rosé or white ink?”

For the second artwork, I decided to do something new using After Effects for the first time. As this is my first podcast, and it has been my first conference talk recently, I thought is time to experiment again.

With this animation, I am marrying the design with its message. The font in use is my first display font release called Green Fairy.
