Miłosz Upright Italic | Type

Typeface design to commemorate the centennial of the birth of Czeslaw Miłosz (poet, writer, translator).

Miłosz Italic was born during the Postgraduate Course of Advanced Typography, Barcelona 2011. It is an upright italic with multiple ligatures and diacritics.

The typeface is a work-in-progress project. I would like to mention and express my gratitude to my teachers and fantastic type designers for guiding me through the process of creating Miłosz Italic: Laura Meseguer, José Manuel Urós and Iñigo Jerez.
