FAQs
I cannot make it live; Can I watch the weekly recordings and send you my work for revision?
Yes, you can send me an email per week with your work. I’ll record a video offering feedback anonymously and I’ll share it with all students, so everyone can benefit from it!
Which materials do I need for the course?
Once you sign up for the course, I’ll send you a PDF file with a visual list of materials. If you want to check the materials beforehand, follow the steps below:
1) Head to this link 2) Use the coupon code YOUTUBE 3) Download it for free 🙂
Can I still do the course being a left hander?
Absolutely yes! In fact, left handers are great calligraphers and you may find easier to follow the angle of the writing in comparison to right handers. Check this video about left hander positioning.
What time is the course in my time zone?
This course is scheduled for Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm (Melbourne time). If you’re not in Australia, your class will likely be on your Wednesday morning or Tuesday evening. That’s because in Australia, we are several hours ahead of many other regions on the planet—yes, we live in the future!
If you live in a different location to the list above, work out your time zone here.
Is the course in English?
Yes, and I am more than happy to answer questions and offer feedback in English, Spanish and Catalan.

About Your Instructor
I learnt calligraphy for the first time in 1996. After a long break working as a full time digital Graphic Designer, I went back to study calligraphy, typography and typeface design in Barcelona and New York City under the tuition of Keith Adams, Amanda Adams, Oriol Miró, Laura Meseguer, Iñigo Jerez, Jose Manuel Urós, Cara Di Edwardo, Sumner Stone, Jean François Porchez and Stéphane Elbaz among others.
All my lettering projects kick off with my own calligraphy as a starting point. Writing letters teaches me to see letterforms and understand its colour, rhythm and contrast. Illustration, typography, lettering and calligraphy are my passion, and my best assets to communicate and provide value.
I have been teaching independently since 2014, and I’m very proud of it. Special THANKS to everyone who has been part of my courses, workshops and private tuitions, YOU are supporting an independent artist and designer to keep on going, growing and becoming a better educator.
